COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Donald Trump has won the South Carolina Republican primary. It's the second-straight victory for the billionaire real estate mogul after his first-place finish in New Hampshire. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio are in a close race for second.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Hillary Clinton's aides are casting her victory in Nevada's Democratic caucuses as a sign that her new focus on increasing opportunities for minorities and poorer Americas is resonating. Her team calls it her "breaking barriers" agenda. Clinton has increasingly decried the issue of "systemic racism" and highlighted her plans to combat the problem.

WASHINGTON (AP) — It's a somber day in the nation's capital. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia has been laid to rest. He was remembered at his funeral today as a man who loved God, country and family. Scalia's son Paul — a Catholic priest — led the Mass and mixed humor and reverence for the conservative icon and father of nine who died unexpectedly last weekend.

JERUSALEM (AP) — The last survivor of Treblinka, the Nazi death camp where 875,000 people were killed, has died at the age of 93. Samuel Willenberg was among a group of Jews who in 1943 set fire to the camp and headed to the woods. Hundreds fled, but most were killed by Nazi troops in the surrounding mine fields or captured by Polish villagers. Willenberg died in Israel on Friday.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The "clock is ticking." Those are the haunting words used by the captain of the doomed freighter El Faro in his final call for help as his ship took on water and lost propulsion. Part of Capt. Michael Davidson's call was played today during a Coast Guard hearing into the Oct. 1 sinking. All 33 aboard died. The El Faro went down off the Bahamas in a storm.
