AMERICAN FORK — The victim of an aggravated robbery spotted the perpetrator just days later, leading to the man's arrest, according to a criminal case filed Wednesday in 4th District Court.

Charles Cody Gleason, 22, is charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, and two counts of retaliation against a witness, victim or information, a third-degree felony.

Gleason allegedly stole a bag filled with $1,900 from another man in the parking of Wal-Mart on Feb. 8. Gleason threatened the victim with a knife after the man demanded the money back, American Fork police say.

Several days later, the victim noticed Gleason at a Subway restaurant, according to charging documents. The victim's father subdued Gleason while police responded to the Subway, charges state. Gleason allegedly threatened both men during the ordeal.

Gleason was charged last month with three counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor, a third-degree felony. His criminal history also includes a guilty plea to misdemeanor retail theft last year, court records show.

Gleason is being held in the Utah County Jail. No initial court date has been set in his case.
