TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A south-central Idaho TV weatherman has been charged with felony rape. Twenty-three-year-old John William Holland appeared in Twin Falls County Magistrate Court where a judge set bond at $10,000. KMVT says the station is reviewing the matter and Holland is currently on leave. It's not clear if Holland has an attorney.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — An Idaho House panel has backed a proposal to require community college trustees be elected from designated zones inside community college districts. Republican Rep. Greg Chaney of Caldwell says his bill would divide two-year college districts into five zones with equal populations.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Authorities have released the name of a man found dead in Julia Davis Park in Boise. The Ada County Coroner's Office says Perry James Woodard appears to have died of natural causes and no foul play is suspected.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A 14-year-old girl has died from injuries sustained during a high school ski trip. The Camas County Sheriff's Office tells KBOI-TV that Taylor Biggs died following a crash on Saturday at Soldier Mountain Ski Area in Fairfield.
