OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- A mental health evaluation has been ordered for a man charged in the shooting deaths of two women in Ogden.

Jacob Daniel Ethridge is charged with two counts of homicide.

Ethridge, 31, appeared in 2nd District Court on Monday where Judge Roger Dutson agreed to a request to have Ethridge's mental competency evaluated.

He is charged in the deaths of Teresa Tingey, 43, and Rosanna Cruz, 25 earlier this month.
