ELON, N.C. (AP) — Ron Curry had 14 points and five assists and James Madison pulled away early in the second half to beat Elon 82-64 on Saturday night.

Paulius Satkus and Joey McLean also had 14 points for the Dukes (16-5, 6-2 Colonial Athletic Association), who have won five straight since losing to Elon, 79-73 on Jan. 7. Jackson Kent added 13 points and Shakir Brown had 12.

Dainan Swoope scored 12 points to lead Elon (12-9, 3-5). Dmitri Thompson and Brian Dawkins had 10 apiece.

Luke Eddy converted a 3-point play to give the Phoenix their last lead, 46-45 early in the second half. Brown's layup sparked a 14-3 run to give the Dukes a 59-49 lead. Satkus scored five points during the stretch.

Elon pulled to 63-55 with eight minutes left before Curry made a 3-pointer, and the Dukes had a double-digit lead the rest of the way.
