ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) — Isaiah Zierden hit eight 3-pointers and scored 31 points, both career highs, and Creighton beat DePaul 91-80 on Sunday.
Zierden was 9 of 12 from the field for the Bluejays (13-6, 4-2 Big East). They shot 53 percent and made half their 26 3-point attempts.
Maurice Watson Jr. had 17 points and six assists, and James Milliken added a career-high 14 points.
Myke Henry was 10 of 12 and scored 21 points for DePaul (6-12, 0-6), but fouled out at the 2:14 mark with the Blue Demons trailing 78-73. Zierden made a pair of free throws and Milliken scored five straight points for a 10-point lead with 1:19 left.
Eli Cain also scored 21 points, and Tommy Hamilton IV had 13 points and eight rebounds for DePaul. The Blue Demons shot 54 percent, though only 32 percent from the arc, and committed 18 turnovers.
Creighton has won three of its last four games.
