NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Nick Smith scored 14 points off the bench and Belmont doubled-up Austin Peay in the first half en route to a 76-58 win over their in-state rivals Saturday night to remain undefeated in Ohio Valley Conference play.

Taylor Barnette hit a pair of free throws with 13 seconds left in the first half to give Belmont a 46-23 advantage at intermission. Dylan Windler's free throw with 10:27 left in the game pushed the lead to 59-30, but the Governors answered with an 8-0 run.

Amanzee Egekeze finished with 13 points, and Barnette and Windler each added 10 points for Belmont (13-6, 5-0).

Chris Horton finished with 19 points to lead Austin Peay (8-12, 0-4), but was the lone scorer to reach double-figure scoring. The Governors were held to 34.4 percent shooting from the field, including just 4 of 22 from beyond the arc.
