LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) — Tom Rivard scored 23 points with nine rebounds and Colgate pulled away from Bucknell down the stretch to win 84-73 on Saturday night.

Rivard was 9 of 15 from the floor. Jordan Swopshire had 17 points, including five 3-pointers, and added eight boards for the Raiders (8-9, 4-2 Patriot League), who snapped Bucknell's five-game winning streak. Austin Tillotson had 16 points for Colgate.

Bucknell (8-9, 5-1) led 63-59 with 5:23 remaining but back-to-back 3's by Sean O'Brien and Swopshire sparked an 18-4 run which gave Colgate a 77-67 lead.

A Nate Jones 3-pointer pulled the Bison to 77-70, but Bucknell did not get any closer as Colgate hit 7 of 8 from the line to seal it.

Chris Hass led Bucknell with 18 points. Ryan Frazier and Stephen Brown added 10 points each for the Bison.
