Jacksonville edges Lipscomb 76-73

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Josh Adeyeye scored 24 points with 11 rebounds, and Marcel White sank the go-ahead 3-pointer to lift Jacksonville to a 76-73 win over Lipscomb on Saturday night.

Trailing by eight midway through the second half, Jacksonville (10-10, 2-1 Atlantic Sun) retook the lead with a 13-4 run that included 3-pointers from Adeyeye and White to make it 55-54 with 7:46 to go. Lipscomb stayed close, with 11 lead changes down the stretch.

White's go-ahead 3 made it 74-73 with 14 seconds left and Adeyeye padded the advantage at the foul line. Lipscomb's J.C. Hampton missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer, sealing Jacksonville's 10th straight home win.

Kori Babineaux had 18 points with 10 assists, J.R. Holder had 11 points and 10 rebounds, and White finished with 11.

Hampton paced Lipscomb (4-16, 0-3) with 17 points. George Brammeier, Nathan Moran and Garrison Mathews added 16 apiece.
