MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) — Jeremiah Davis sank a jumper at the buzzer for the win as Ball State rallied late in the second half to edge Miami (Ohio) 48-46 on Saturday.

After trailing the entire game, Ball State went on top 44-43 on a Ryan Weber 3-pointer with 2:38 to play. Then Davis broke a 46-46 tie on a jumper with a second remaining for the win.

Weber and Jeremie Tyler finished with 10 points apiece for the Cardinals (12-5, 3-1 Mid-American Conference). Davis and Naiel Smith added seven points apiece and Bo Calhoun grabbed eight rebounds.

The RedHawks (6-11, 0-4) took an early 14-5 lead and finished the first half with a 28-17 advantage. They led throughout the second period until Weber's 3-pointer gave Ball State the lead and the Cardinals never trailed after that.

Eric Washington scored a career-best 26 points for the RedHawks.
