FRESNO, Calif. (AP) — Mark Weber and Joe Bernardi returned to Fresno State on Friday as assistant coaches on Tim DeRuyter's football staff.

Weber, also a Fresno State assistant from 2004-05, will coach the offensive line. He spent the past three seasons as Utah State's offensive line and associate head coach. After leaving Fresno State, Weber spent a season at North Carolina and six at BYU.

Bernardi, a four-year starter at center for Bulldogs from 2007-10, will coach the tight ends. He spent the past three seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Oregon after two years at Tennessee as the offensive line quality control coach.
