ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — The Rays agreed to one-year deals with almost half their arbitration-eligible players, settling Thursday with pitchers Alex Cobb and Jake McGee, and outfielders Desmond Jennings and Brandon Guyer.

Cobb, who missed last season and is recovering from Tommy John surgery, receives a $4 million salary, the same as in 2015. McGee gets a raise from $3.55 million to $4.8 million; Jennings from $3.1 million to $3.3 million; and Guyer from $515,800 to $1,185,000.

Six Rays were set to swap figures with the team Friday: first baseman Logan Morrison, right-hander Erasmo Ramirez, left-hander Drew Smyly, second baseman Logan Forsythe and catchers Hank Conger and Rene Rivera.

Tampa Bay has a team policy of not negotiating after the exchange.
