FORT MEYERS, Fla. (AP) — Marc Eddy Norelia's layup with 45 seconds left in overtime gave Florida Gulf Coast the lead and Christian Terrell knocked down three straight free throws to put away the 82-78 win over the New Jersey Institute of Technology Thursday night.

The win extends the Eagles' (11-7, 2-0 A-Sun) win streak to five games. Norelia finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds and Zach Johnson came off the FGC bench to add 16 points. Terrell added another 12 points.

It's been a tough introduction to the Atlantic Sun Conference for first-year member NJIT (9-9, 0-2). The Highlanders fought back from a 17-point deficit Saturday against South Carolina-Upstate only to lose on a tip-in at the buzzer.

Damon Lynn led the Highlanders with 22 points, knocking down 6 of 15 from beyond the arc. Ky Howard added 16 points and Terrence Smith scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.
