NEW YORK (AP) — Clothes Fall Off, the odds-on favorite, rallied to beat Making Havoc by 1 1/2 lengths Thursday in the $69,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
The consistent 4-year-old trained by Kiaran McLaughlin angled three wide at the top of the stretch and took command a furlong from the finish. The victory improved her record to 3-5-0 in nine starts.
Jose Ortiz was aboard for his third win of day. The time was 1:02.89 for the 5 1/2 furlongs.
Clothes Fall Off paid $3.80, $2.40 and $2.10 as the 4/5 choice. Making Havoc returned $7.30 and $4. Myfourchix paid $2.90 to show.
