MUNFORD, Tenn. (AP) — The small town of Munford, Tennessee, is buzzing today, with TV trucks parked outside the three stores that sell Powerball tickets. One of those stores -- it's not clear which one -- sold one of the three winning tickets in last night's drawing for a $1.6 billion jackpot. The others were sold in Melbourne Beach, Florida, and in Chino Hills, California. No winners have come forward yet.

JAKARTA, Indonesia (AP) — Islamic State group backers have circulated a claim of responsibility for the Indonesian suicide attacks. The message said four attackers carried out the assault in Jakarta and had planted several bombs with timers. It said they also wore suicide belts and carried light weaponry. Indonesian police said five — not four — attackers and two other people were killed in explosions and gunfire today in downtown Jakarta.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — It's been nearly 40 years since Sylvester Stallone's first Academy Award nomination, but Rocky is still going strong. Stallone was nominated for the writing and acting in the first "Rocky" film, which was released in 1976. Today, he received a supporting actor Oscar nomination for reprising the role in last year's "Creed." He becomes the sixth actor to receive two Oscar nominations for playing the same character. The others are Cate Blanchett, Bing Crosby, Paul Newman, Peter O'Toole and Al Pacino.

BALTIMORE (AP) — Baltimore officials have approved spending $200,000 for equipment police say will improve the safety of the department's vans. The Board of Estimates voted yesterday to authorize the funds for new compartments in 13 existing vans and 10 more the police department is purchasing. The issue of safety in police transport vans gained wide attention after the death of Freddie Gray a week after his neck was broken during a van ride.

MIAMI (AP) — A rare January hurricane has formed far out in the Atlantic, and U.S. officials say it's the first hurricane to form in the month of January since 1938. A hurricane warning has been issued for the Azores. The U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami says there hasn't been a hurricane present during the month of January since 1955, when Alice formed in late December 1954 and carried over into the next month.
