EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Oregon has named David Yost its quarterbacks and passing game coordinator.
Yost comes to the Ducks after three years as an assistant to Mike Leach at Washington State, coaching inside receivers. Before that, Yost was on coach Gary Pinkel's staffs at both Toledo and Missouri, eventually becoming offensive coordinator and assistant head coach.
The addition of Yost fills out the last remaining offensive position on the Ducks' staff. Shortly before the Alamo Bowl, Matt Lubick was promoted as offensive coordinator to replace Scott Frost, who was named head coach at Central Florida.
