SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill is joining a push for state lawmakers to pass a medical marijuana bill this year. Gill joined about 30 people at Utah's State Capitol today who want to use the drug to treat medical conditions. Gil says he's not supporting any particular legislation.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Utah Supreme Court is reviving a case against a former small-town police chief accused of mishandling a domestic violence complaint against his brother. The opinion reverses two lower court rulings tossing out charges against former Kamas police chief Adam Howard Jones.

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) — A California man has died while wingsuit flying among remote cliffs on the Arizona-Utah border. The victim is identified as 29-year-old Mathew Kenney, of Santa Cruz. Officials say his body is trapped in a crevice and they are working on a way to recover it.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Olympic gold medalist skier Picabo Street has been charged with assault and domestic violence after authorities say she pushed her father down the stairs of a Park City home in December. Charging documents show Street told police she locked her 76-year-old father in the basement of a Park City house after pushing him and then called authorities. Her attorney says she denies and wrongdoing.
