SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle Mariners have hired Todd Donovan as their assistant director of player personnel and added three other pro scouts to their staff.

Seattle announced the additions Wednesday. Donovan will be active in all parts of the Mariners' scouting operations including pro, amateur and international scouting. He spent five seasons with the Arizona Diamondbacks in various scouting roles from 2010-14 before spending last season as a special assignment scout with Tampa Bay.

Seattle also added Nick Manno, Andy Pratt and Jason Lefkowitz as pro scouts. Lefkowitz previously worked as a pro scout with Houston, Manno was a pro scout in Toronto and Pratt was a scout with Milwaukee before joining in the Mariners.
