The Golden Griffins (7-10) got back within five on a 3-pointer but Chris Atkinson but two free throws each from Malik Gill and Guilien Smith put Dartmouth up 12, 73-61, with 1:41 left.

Dartmouth closed the first half on a 10-2 run to lead 33-31.
