NEW YORK (AP) — ShawnDre' Jones scored 35 points and Marshall Wood had 29, both career highs, and Richmond raced to a 93-82 win over Fordham on Sunday.
Terry Allen added 17 points and T.J. Cline 12 for the Spiders (9-6, 1-2 Atlantic 10), who only had four players score. Trey Davis had 11 assists and four steals.
Mandell Thomas had 22 points and Ryan Rhoomes 18 for the Rams (10-4, 1-2), who had a 10-game home streak snapped. They shot 60 percent but Richmond shot 54.5 percent (30 of 55), made 13 of 28 3-pointers and finished 20 of 23 from the foul line after missing its only attempt in the first half.
Fordham was up 13 early but Wood hit 6 of 18 3s and had 22 points, four more than his career best, to put the Spiders up 47-39 at the break. The Rams were within four with 1:56 left when Wood hit his only 3 of the second half.
