CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Ruth Hamblin had 15 points and No. 11 Oregon State dominated Oregon 60-33 on Friday night.
Gabriella Hanson had 11 points and Jamie Weisner 10 for the Beavers (11-3, 2-1 Pac 12), who held the Ducks to 21.5 percent shooting (14 of 65), including 1 of 18 from 3-point range.
Jillian Alleyne had 10 points for Oregon (11-3, 0-3), which entered the game averaging 84.7 points and had not scored less than 69. It was the lowest total for the Ducks since scoring 34 against California on Feb. 9 2008.
After Jacinta Vanderberg's jumper pulled Oregon within 9-7 at 3:49 of the first quarter, the Ducks missed their next 10 shots and 17 of 18 to fall behind by 17 before Alleyne's layup at 4:19 of the second quarter made it 26-11. The Beavers led 32-18 at the half.
The Ducks then went 3 of 18 from the field in the third quarter as Oregon State extended the lead to 46-24.
The teams will play in Eugene on Sunday.
