NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — Alex Copeland and Eric Anderson scored 14 points apiece and Yale cruised to a 94-53 win over Division III Daniel Webster College on Friday night.
Brandon Sherrod, Anthony Dallier and Blake Reynolds had 11 points apiece for the Bulldogs (9-5), who finish nonconference play 5-0 at home for the first time in four seasons.
Rondell Best and Ray Farmer had 10 points apiece for the Eagles (4-5).
Yale led 43-24 at the half and then shot 53 percent in the second half to finish at 55 percent (37 of 67). The Bulldogs were 8 of 18 from 3-point range but just 12 of 21 from the foul line. They forced 19 turnovers, turned those into 32 points and had a 43-28 rebounding advantage.
All 13 players scored for Yale with just two playing less than 10 minutes and two more than 19.
