GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) — East Carolina has added Antonio King to its football staff as running backs coach.

New coach Scottie Montgomery announced King's hiring Friday, making him the seventh member of the staff.

King comes to East Carolina after leading Durham Hillside High School to six straight conference titles and the 2010 North Carolina High School Athletic Association 4-A championship.

King played quarterback at Howard and North Carolina Central in the 1990s.
