LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Josh Adams had 20 points and 10 rebounds Wednesday night, and Wyoming made 11 3-pointers in a 64-52 win over Air Force.
Alexander Aka Gorski had a pair of 3-pointers and Jeremy Lieberman added a third to spark a Cowboys' 17-5 run that was capped by Adams' two free throws at 59-46 with 5:37 to play.
Lieberman finished 4 of 5 from 3-point range with 13 points for Wyoming (8-8, 1-2 Mountain West Conference). Jason McManamen scored 10.
Wyoming led 40-25 early in the second half before Air Force (10-5, 1-1) used a 16-2 run to get within 42-41. The Cowboys made 1 of 7 shots with three turnovers while the Falcons nearly erased their deficit.
Trevor Lyons led Air Force with 14 points. Hayden Graham added 13 points, Zach Kocur scored 11 and Joe Tuss had 10.
