SANDY — Police are searching for a man who robbed a coffee shop Monday morning, officials said.
Around 11 a.m., the man entered Beans and Brews Coffee House at 45 East 11400 South and ordered coffee, according to Sandy police.
After ordering, police say he displayed a handgun that was tucked into his waistband and demanded money from an employee.
The man fled the coffee house in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.
The man is described as black and about 6 feet tall with a heavy build. He was wearing blue jeans, black shoes, an Eagles jacket, a dark-colored beanie and black sunglasses, police said.
