OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Mississippi left tackle Laremy Tunsil has decided to enter the NFL draft after three seasons anchoring the team's offensive line.

The school announced the 6-foot-5, 305-pound junior's decision on Monday, just a few hours after teammate Laquon Treadwell, who is a receiver, also decided to turn pro.

Tunsil said in the statement that he "will always cherish my time at Ole Miss and the relationships with my teammates, coaches and staff."

Coach Hugh Freeze said "few players have brought more joy to my life than Laremy Tunsil, and I'm so proud to see him take this next step in his life."

Tunsil missed the first seven games of his junior season after he was suspended by the NCAA for receiving improper benefits. He started the Rebels' final six games.
