NEW YORK (AP) — Manhattan used a balanced scoring attack with three players scoring 14 points apiece and the Jaspers picked up their first Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference victory with a 72-66 win over Fairfield on Saturday night.

Zane Waterman, Calvin Crawford and Rich Williams all had 14 points and Shane Richards added 10 for Manhattan (4-8, 1-2), which has won three out its last four games following a five-game losing streak.

Two free throws by Waterman and another by Tyler Wilson had the Jaspers in front 69-63 with 3:41 to go.

Tyler Nelson made a 3-pointer for Fairfield but the Stags didn't score again over the final three minutes. Waterman added a free throw and Richards two more to round out the scoring.
