CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Chris Horton scored 18 points to lead seven players in double figures and Austin Peay routed Division III Westminster 112-61 on Wednesday night.
Horton was 9 of 11 from the field and had six assists, six rebounds, three steals and two blocks. Khalil Davis scored 17 points on 8-of-13 shooting for Austin Peay (7-8). Chris Porter-Bunton added 14 points, 10 rebounds and three assists.
The Governors bounced back from their 74-70 loss against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Dec. 28, and host Eastern Kentucky in their Ohio Valley Conference opener on Saturday.
Romo Tabb scored 15 points on 7-of-12 shooting to lead Westminster.
Austin Peay had a 10-point lead five minutes into the game, and used a 19-2 run to take a 42-11 lead with seven minutes left in the first half.
