ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) — The Detroit Lions have released cornerback Bill Bentley.
The team announced the move Tuesday.
Detroit signed Bentley in November when cornerback Josh Wilson went on injured reserve with a knee injury. The Lions had cut Bentley in June.
Bentley was drafted in the third round by Detroit in 2012. He started eight games in his first two seasons with the Lions, but none since then.
