Maine outlasts Quinnipiac in overtime 98-95

BANGOR, Maine (AP) — Kevin Little scored 20 points, including four from the line late in overtime, and Maine held off Quinnipiac 98-95 on Tuesday night.

Maine was 6 of 6 from the line inside of 12 seconds remaining in overtime to hold on. The Black Bears (3-9) scored 18 points in the extra session, going 4 of 5 from the floor and hitting all nine free throw attempts.

Quinnipiac's Giovanni McLean drilled a 3-pointer with 16 seconds in regulation to force overtime, tied at 80.

Till Gloger scored 20 points and Lavar Harewood added 16 for the Black Bears, who shot over 56 percent and made 8 of 19 from beyond the arc.

Abdulai Bundu led Quinnipiac (4-7) with 23 points. McLean finished with 19 points, Donovan Smith had 18 points with 11 rebounds and James Ford Jr. added 13. The Bobcats — ranked seventh nationally in rebounds per game with 44.1 — outrebounded Maine 48-31.
