BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Willie Conner had 23 points with six assists and Buffalo used a big first half to cruise to a 99-79 victory over Delaware on Tuesday night.
Conner was 7 of 11 from the floor and had two steals. Jarryn Skeete scored 20 points and CJ Massinburg added 13 points with five assists and two steals for Buffalo (7-6), which bounced back after having its two-game win streak snapped against VCU, 90-69 on Dec. 22.
Marvin King-Davis scored 19 points on 8-of-14 shooting with 10 rebounds to lead Delaware (5-6), which has lost three straight.
Conner had 12 points in the first half as the Bulls built a 45-29 halftime lead. Conner scored eight straight points to stretch the Bulls' lead to 63-43 with 13:40 to play.
It was the third meeting between the schools and the first since 1950.
