Colorado State eases past Division II-member Regis 77-53

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Emmanuel Omogbo had 15 points and eight rebounds to help Colorado State beat Division II-member Regis University 77-53 on Tuesday night.

Tiel Daniels added 12 points and nine rebounds for Colorado State (8-5), which outrebounded Regis 47-32 and held a 40-10 advantage for points in the paint. Antwan Scott and John Gillon combined for 11 of the Rams' 17 assists on 28 made field goals.

Daniels had 10 points in the first half as Colorado State built a 39-18 lead. The Rams led by as many as 29 points with 7:44 left in the game after two free throws by Kimani Jackson.

Regis, of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, was led by Ryan Beisty with 12 points and seven rebounds. Dexter Sienko and Noah King added 10 points apiece for the Rangers, who were held to 18-of-54 (33 percent) shooting.
