DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Authorities in Dayton, Ohio, are looking for a 20-year-old man who they say fired shots into a car, hitting a 2-year-old boy in the head.
Police say the man fired several shots at a car just after midnight on Thursday on the city's west side. The car subsequently crashed into a tree. The child, strapped in a car seat, was hit with a bullet fired from the rear.
Police say the suspect had been involved in a dispute with a passenger in the vehicle.
The child remains in critical condition.
