RENTON, Wash. (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks hope wide receiver Doug Baldwin will be ready to play on Sunday against St. Louis.

But the decision on his status could be made on game day.

Baldwin has a hamstring injury and coach Pete Carroll said on Thursday the team believes Baldwin will be able to play. Baldwin did not practice Wednesday or Thursday, but is expected to have a greater workload in practice on Friday. A final decision may not come until Sunday.

Baldwin has caught 10 touchdowns in the past four games, tying an NFL record.

Carroll said strong safety Kam Chancellor (tailbone) did not progress much Thursday in his recovery and left tackle Russell Okung (calf) also did not practice. The team is in a waiting mode with both.
