EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New York Giants have filled Odell Beckham Jr.'s space on the roster by promoting receiver Ben Edwards from their practice squad.
Beckham does not count of the roster because he is suspended for a game for his actions last Sunday against Carolina. His appeal of his suspension was denied Wednesday.
Edwards has been a member of the practice squad since Nov. 17. He will be eligible to play Sunday night at Minnesota.
Receiver Julian Talley was signed to take Edwards' place on the practice squad.
Edwards was in training camp with the Giants, but pulled his hamstring and was waived/injured on July 31. He caught 207 passes for 2,196 yards and 15 touchdowns at Richmond.
