HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (AP) — Tyler White had 18 points, four assists and four steals on Wednesday night, and Northern Kentucky beat Indiana-Kokomo 88-44.

The Norse (4-6) nearly doubled the NAIA Cougars in both halves. They led 49-24 after the first period and outscored Kokomo 39-20 on the way out.

Drew McDonald had career highs of 13 points and nine rebounds in only 11 minutes. Cole Murray added 10 points for Northern Kentucky, which outrebounded the Cougars 42-26 and assisted on 24 of its 33 field goals.

Beau Dedmond had 10 points to lead Kokomo, which never scored more than five points in a row.

The Norse shot 54.1 percent from the field, including 13 of 29 (44.8 percent) from 3-point range — with makes from eight different players.
