DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — Kale Abrahamson had 30 points for the second time in his career and Graham Woodward had a career-high 23 points to lead Drake to an 87-70 win over Abilene Christian on Tuesday night.
Drake stopped a four-game losing skid and gave coach Ray Giacoletti his 200th career victory.
Abrahamson hit 5 of 9 from beyond the arc and was 9 of 14 from the floor. Woodward was 4 of 6 from long range as the Bulldogs hit 10 of 18 treys and made a scorching 30 of 48 (62.5 from the floor.
Reed Timmer added 10 points for Drake (5-7).
The Bulldogs were up 43-32 at the break and were ahead 65-46 midway of the second half.
Abilene Christian (4-8) closed to 74-64 with 4:19 left in the game but Timmer scored four straight and Abrahamson hit a three to push the lead to 81-64.
Jaylen Franklin led ACU with 24 points.
