CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Josh Robinson scored a career-high 30 points and Austin Peay held off Wofford 84-77 Tuesday night.
Robinson made all 14 free throw attempts and was 7 of 9 from the floor. Chris Horton had 20 points with 13 rebounds while Khalil Davis scored 15 for the Governors (6-7). Austin Peay shot over 60 percent from the field and made 4 of 7 beyond the arc, outrebounding Wofford 31-22.
Freshman Fletcher Magee paced Wofford with a career-high 27 points on 8-of-16 shooting, including 7 of 11 on 3-point attempts. Justin Gordon added 13 points.
Austin Peay used a 10-1 run midway through the first half to build a 43-30 lead at intermission.
Wofford chipped away in the second half. Magee made three foul shots, and then drained a 3-pointer, to draw the Terriers within four with 59 second left. Austin Peay made 8 of 10 from the line in the last 1:08 —six by Robinson — to hang on.
