NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Angel Delgado scored six of his 14 points early and Seton Hall beat South Florida 66-49 on Tuesday night, running its win streak to five games.

Seton Hall (10-2) opened on a 14-0 run, and USF did not score until there were less than 10 minutes left in the first half. Delgado scored six points and Khadeen Carrington five in the run.

The Pirates shot 49 percent (26-62) with 21 assists. Isaiah Whitehead dished 10 assists and scored six points. Delgado reached a fifth-straight double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Veer Singh shot 4 of 6 from 3-point range for a career-high 12 points.

Angel Nunez scored a season-high 19 points with eight rebounds to lead USF (3-10). The Bulls made four turnovers in the first four minutes and missed their first seven shots.
