HONOLULU (AP) — Agunwa Okolie made four free throws inside of 17 seconds left in overtime and Harvard beat BYU 85-82 on Tuesday in a Diamond Head Classic quarterfinal.
Harvard (4-6) will play Auburn on in a semifinal on Wednesday and BYU (7-4) will face New Mexico in the consolation bracket.
BYU was up by four with 2:17 left in regulation, but Patrick Steeves made a jumper and a pair from the line to tie at 64. BYU's Chase Fischer made 2 of 3 from the line to go up 66-64, and then Steeves made a driving layup with 29 seconds to tie it at 66. After Fischer missed a long 3-pointer, the teams headed to overtime.
Kyle Collinsworth made a twisting layup with 1:00 left in OT to put BYU up 82-79, but Harvard made six straight from the line for the win.
Zena Edosomwan had career highs in points (23) and rebounds (17) to lead Harvard.
Collinsworth and Kyle Davis had 23 apiece for BYU.
