INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The NFL says it is investigating former Colts linebacker Daniel Adongo under its personal conduct policy after police were called to his home in suburban Indianapolis.

The Indianapolis Star reports (http://indy.st/1YsFm77 ) that police were called to Adongo's home in Fishers, Indiana, in October and last week in response to possible incidents of domestic violence.

Hamilton County deputy prosecutor Amy Summerfield said in a statement that no charges would be filed and the case is closed.

The Colts waived Adongo on Thursday.

NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy told the newspaper Friday that the league is aware of the matter and "it's under review."

Adongo has no publicly listed phone number and could not be reached for comment Saturday by The Associated Press.
