RAMSAU, Austria (AP) — Magnus Moan edged Magnus Krog by the length of a ski tip to lead a Norwegian sweep of the podium at a Nordic combined World Cup on Saturday.

Having started 20th following the ski jumping, Moan was the fastest skier on the 10-kilometer cross-country track and beat Krog after 22 minutes, 17.3 seconds for his 25th individual World Cup victory.

A third Norwegian, Jarl Magnus Riiber, came 1.0 second behind in third after beating Tino Edelmann of Germany in another photo-finish.

"It was really fun with the other guys from Norway," Moan said. "The way we handled the race, I am really satisfied and proud."

Riiber had jumped 95.5 meters to win the ski jumping portion and carried a 37-second lead into the cross-country skiing.

The 18-year-old stayed ahead of the field for 15 minutes until being overtaken by Akito Wataba of Japan and Eric Frenzel of Germany.

Moan led the charge from the field and closed in on the leading trio with two kilometers left. The top-10 finishers all came within three seconds of the winning time.

In the overall standings, Krog overtook leader Fabian Riessle of Germany, who fell in the final lap and finished ninth. The Norwegian has 212 points, leading Riessle by three.

Another Nordic combined event is scheduled for Sunday.
