COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Torrance Rowe sank five 3-pointers and finished with 23 points, Hakeem Rogers scored five of his 19 points in the final 1:19 and Tennessee Tech rallied past Miami (Ohio) 77-64 on Friday night.

The comeback was the fourth this season where Tennessee Tech (8-4) closed a double-digit gap. Rowe and Rogers combined for all eight 3-point baskets, often hitting at key moments as the Golden Eagles moved to 7-0 at home, their best mark since 2004-05.

Rowe sank a trey to cap an 11-0 run that tied the game at 36-36. Rogers scored his third to push the lead to 70-61 with 1:19 left.

The RedHawks (6-4) led by as many as 12 in the first half but went scoreless for more than four minutes to start the second as the Golden Eagles caught up.

LJ Livingston led the RedHawks with 16 points, Eric Washington added 14 with five assists.
