SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Notre Dame freshman receiver wide receiver Jalen Guyton has been suspended from all football-related activities.

University spokesman Michael Bertsch said Guyton, who had not played this season, has been suspended pending the resolution of a private university process. Bertsch said he could not comment further.

The eighth-ranked Fighting Irish (10-2) play No. 7 Ohio State (11-1) in the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 1.

Guyton is a 6-0, 200-pound receiver from Allen, Texas.
