LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities are still searching for a second suspect as a woman has been identified as taking part in a shooting and attempted robbery at a Las Vegas doctor's office.

The Clark County Coroner's office said Friday that 45-year-old Veronica Clay died of a gunshot wound to the chest in a homicide.

Las Vegas police said the woman believed to be a patient and another man in ski masks attacked a doctor who was in his office west of downtown Las Vegas Wednesday night.

The two went in to search the office and pistol-whipped the doctor, who was there with another employee and a different patient.

Police said the employee went and got a handgun to shoot the robbers.

Clay died at a hospital.

The other robber fled the scene.
