DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Rebecca Greenwell had a career-high 26 points with eight rebounds and four 3-pointers to lead No. 13 Duke over Liberty 79-41 on Thursday night.
Azura Stevens added 13 points and Angela Salvadores scored 12 for Duke (8-2), which won its second in a row since a 66-55 loss on Dec. 6 to No. 2 South Carolina.
Salvadores' layup with 1:22 left in the first quarter gave the Blue Devils the lead for good and sparked a 31-3 run ending shortly before halftime at 42-15.
Duke kept its lead between 25 and 30 for the entire third quarter, and then extended to its largest lead at 79-37.
Liberty (3-6) had 10 players score, none more than Mickayla Sanders who finished with seven points. The Flames led once at 12-11 on Brooke Alexander's 3-pointer with 1:46 left in the first quarter.
