MACE WINDY — No small amount of attention has been paid to the "Star Wars" franchise in the Have You Seen This? section of KSL.com. There have been epic piano medleys, a lightsaber duel enacted by small furry critters and even a Sandy boy whose walker was transformed into the Millennium Falcon for Halloween, complete with a sound system.
There's even been a bizarre featured video of a guitar chord that sounds very similar to Chewbacca's iconic Wookie call.
So when the "Star Wars" universe collides with another one of our favorite platforms — TV news — we couldn't just let it disappear into an unnamed star system.
Jumping on the back of the "Star Wars" frenzy and in anticipation of Friday's release of "The Force Awakens," Sian Welby, a meteorologist for Channel 5 in the U.K., packed a plethora of delightful puns into the region's forecast that will make the biggest word nerds Greedo with envy.
It's too bad she wasn't around when Alderaan needed her Forceful forecast the most.
