TATOOINE — In case you've been living under a rock, a new Star Wars movie will be released this coming Thursday.

The excitement has reached fever-pitch status with each new announcement and trailer; the merchandisers have gone bananas, branding everything from tangerines to jewelry, and seemingly every YouTuber who is a Star Wars fan has released some sort of homage or parody in anticipation of "The Force Awakens." (See here, here and here.)

And yes, I have one more homage for you. A Star Wars music homage to end all other homages. It's got the sheer talent and skills of pianist Sonya Belousova, the emotion and drama from director Tom Grey, and amazing costume and set design worthy of the Star Wars franchise.

Basically, it's an epic performance that made this Star Wars semi-nerd giggle and clap throughout like a fool.

Of course, it's epic in all senses of the word, and the video comes in at just under 11 minutes. But let me tell you: It's worth it. Just Belousva's playing talent alone, without the whole production side of things, is worth it. (But just in case you want to get straight to the "Imperial March," skip to 7:13.)

If you're feeling particularly ambitious as a pianist, Belousva has links to all the piano arrangements for purchase in the video description.

Not a Star Wars fan? Belousva has you covered with Disney, Doctor Who, Mario Bros., and much more on the PlayerPiano YouTube channel.
