CONSTRUCTION ZONE — Dealing with construction noise in your home is quite an annoyance, we have a few homes being built right nearby, but I found something that those workers could do to make life just a little bit better for us.

Okay, maybe a lot better.

What if each of their machines suddenly appeared to be a dinosaur?

It wouldn't cost much for a company to make it a lot more interesting to sit and watch what they're doing — although it could lead to some problems with crowds of people watching and distracted workers.

A man who runs a California lawn care company with a large social media following decided to place some giant googly eyes onto his excavator and — maybe more importantly — use the music of Jurassic Park to play up the dinosaur theme.

I wondered if this video is close enough to the real thing that it could be enough to honor Sam Neill, the man who played Alan Grant who died Monday at 78, but its not — you should go watch Jurassic Park too.

Where else could some googly eyes help? Maybe I need to go put eyes on some cleaning equipment in my own home to help me pull them out a little more.
