LAS VEGAS (AP) — An information technology employee has been arrested for stealing dozens of iPads from a North Las Vegas elementary school.
KTNV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1mpWUow ) that police say the IT employee stole nearly $15,000 worth of iPads when he was supposed to be moving the tablets from Jesse Scott Elementary School to another school in the Clark County School District.
School administrators called police on Dec. 9 to say they never received the iPads. The employee was arrested on Dec. 14.
Police also arrested his brother, who they say was with the employee when he pawned some of the stolen iPads.
The brothers have been released on bail.
